Session 1: Maris Stella High School (MSHS)

Session 2: Cedar Girls’ Secondary School (CDGSS)

We will take a closer look at the long answer questions (LAQs) that students usually struggle with as they are at a loss of where & how to start solving these problem sums.

Your child can grow his/her confidence in tackling such questions by using our step-by-step problem-solving techniques effectively, which aim to equip them to secure the full marks for the questions.

Prior to each lesson, your child will be asked to complete the questions at home in order for us to be able to review the questions together in class.

During the review, we will share some common mistakes S3 students make so that your child can learn to avoid them.

If your child has any doubts about how to use certain problem-solving techniques, he/she can take the opportunity to check with us during and/or after the lesson.

Mr. Jack is an enthusiastic and engaging teacher with a background in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). With over 6 years of experience teaching secondary Math, his vibrant teaching style creates captivating and effective learning experiences for his students. Drawing from his background in Engineering, Mr. Jack employs innovative teaching methods that demystify complex mathematical concepts and make them easy to understand and apply for his students.

Mr. Jack aims to empower his students to become confident problem solvers and analytical thinkers. By fostering a growth mindset and providing personalised support, he seeks to inspire a love for mathematics and equip his students with the skills they need to succeed academically and in their future endeavours.

Any parent or student found recording any part of the lessons will be terminated immediately and no fee refund will be arranged.

I will inform the Centre of my intention to withdraw my child from the course within 14 days of payment in order for the Centre to process a refund of the course fee (admin charge of $30 applies).
