Challenge 1\ufe0f\u20e3: Your child will learn new, more challenging topics from scratch while tackling higher-order questions from lower primary Math topics!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In\u00a0P5, he\/she\u00a0will be exposed to longer problem sums<\/strong> as compared to P4. And this can be daunting if he\/she doesn’t have the right step-by-step methods to break the questions down to solve them correctly!<\/p>\n

Your child’s end goal is the PSLE\u00a0Math\u00a0exam<\/a> and P6\u00a0Math<\/a>\u00a0topics are an extension of\u00a0P5\u00a0topics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Challenge 3\ufe0f\u20e3: Your child will have to sit for 2 papers and use a calculator for the first time!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Besides having to sit for two different papers over a longer period, your child will also be allowed to use a calculator for the first time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But here’s the thing:<\/p>\n

\u26a0\ufe0f\u00a0Your child can only use the calculator in Paper 2.\u00a0If he\/she doesn’t learn how to use it effectively, he\/she is likely to waste\u00a0his\/her precious time\u00a0and not save it!<\/p>\n

\u26a0\ufe0f\u00a0Since your child is not allowed to use the calculator in Paper 1, he\/she\u00a0must still be able to do manual calculations quickly and precisely to score well.<\/p>\n
