More importantly, this\u00a0also helps to lower the likelihood of losing marks unnecessarily.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: geomanist-bold;\">Here&#8217;s How Most Students Would Answer<\/span><\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Some of the kinetic energy of the pendulum bob was converted to heat energy and sound energy due to air resistance.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Unfortunately, their answer tends to end here.<\/p>\n<p>Analysing the question again, what it is asking is, <span style=\"color: #d00031; font-family: geomanist-bold;\">&#8220;Why did the pendulum bob swing back to a lower height instead of the same height?&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As such, the above answer is incomplete &amp; this would cost them to lose marks unnecessarily.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: geomanist-bold;\">Here&#8217;s What Your Child Needs To Do<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In order to achieve the full marks for this question,\u00a0your child needs to have these in his\/her answer:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Some of the kinetic energy of the pendulum bob was converted to heat energy and sound energy due to air resistance.<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>LINK BACK:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thus, the pendulum bob will possess less kinetic energy, which is converted back to gravitational potential energy, causing it to reach a lower height at C.<span style=\"font-size: 19px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When your child answers in such a manner, he\/she would have applied the <a href=\"\/blog\/importance-of-template-answers\/\">template answer accurately<\/a> and linked his\/her answer to the question asked effectively.<\/p>\n<p>Only then will he\/she be awarded the full marks for this question \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I hope that I&#8217;ve managed to share with you the importance of linking back the answer to the question in this article.
